Our family law attorneys can solve paternity issues
When two parents are unmarried, a father’s legal rights and obligations are determined through a paternity action. There are three ways to establish paternity of a child in Wisconsin:
- Both parents sign a Voluntary Acknowledgement of Paternity document
- Both parents sign an Acknowledgement of Marital Child document
- Genetic testing or a stipulation admitting paternity and a court order
Our family law attorneys have the experience, knowledge, and understanding of the process to help you establish a custody and placement order that will foster the relationship you desire to have with your child.
